Thomas John Chippendale, MD, PhD
Dr. Chippendale is a board-certified neurologist with formal training in four disciplines: neurological medicine, psychobiology, pharmacology, and behavioral science. Chippendale obtained a B.S. in Biology and an M.S. in Pharmacology from the University of California at Irvine (UCI). He also earned an M.A. in Psychology and a PhD in Neuroscience and Behavior from Princeton University, where he was a Spencer Fellow. In 1980, he graduated from UCI medical school with additional training at the National Hospital for Neurologic Disease at Queens Square, London. He completed his medical internship and neurology residency at the University of California at San Diego (UCSD), where he served as chief resident in neurology. Dr. Chippendale treats several neurological conditions and specializes in the treatment of migraine headaches.
Dr. Chippendale is one of 12 neurologists practicing at the Neurological Center. The Neurology Center treats many neurological disorders, including memory disorders.
